Signal was solid most of the time, just dropped once when I was near my gate. Not a big deal though.

I’m probably overthinking it, but one of the main reasons I like flying out of Reagan is just how easy it is to get there. I took the Metro straight from downtown and didn’t have to deal with some long trip outside the city. Maybe that shouldn’t matter as much as it does, but for early flights, it makes everything feel way less stressful.

Finding the restrooms at Reagan was actually way easier than I expected, which is saying something because airports don’t usually make the simple stuff feel simple. The signs were clear, and I didn’t have to drag my bags halfway across the terminal just to find one.
They were clean too, at least by airport bathroom standards. Definitely not luxurious, but they were there when I needed them and kept in decent enough shape, so honestly, 5 stars from me.

I used the lounge at Reagan before my flight and overall had a good experience. The seating was clean, it wasn’t too noisy, and the snacks were decent enough. The staff was friendly too and helped me find a quieter spot so I could get some work done. My only small complaint is that I expected the instructions for getting in and using the lounge to be a little clearer, especially for a first-time visit. Still, it was definitely better than waiting at the gate, and I’d use it again.

I found charging outlets easily right by my gate, which was nice. Made sitting around waiting for my flight a lot less annoying, honestly.

I used flyreagan.com to check my flight status, and it used to be better. The site said my flight was delayed, but when I got to the airport the board showed it was already boarding. I ended up having to rush and almost missed it. Refreshing the page didn’t help either, since it kept showing the same wrong info for a while. It’s frustrating because flight updates are only helpful if you can actually trust them.

There was plenty to eat, and... a lot to browse around too. Nice spot to spend some time.

I got through security quickly with no real stress, which was such a relief. It’s always nice when the timing you see online actually matches what happens in real life.

Traveling with my dog was a bit stressful!! The pet relief area was hard to find, and when we finally got there, it wasn’t very clean. Definitely wish it had been easier to locate and better maintained...

We traveled through Reagan with my wife and our two kids, and right away I just had this feeling it wasn’t going to be the easiest airport for families. The changing rooms we found were cramped and didn’t feel especially clean, plus it took us longer than it should have to track one down.
There also wasn’t much room where we could all sit together or let the kids settle for a bit before boarding. Maybe I expected too much from such a busy airport, but my gut reaction was that it could be a lot more parent-friendly. It wasn’t a disaster, just not great

It was packed from the moment I got there. Lines were everywhere, and the whole visit just felt like a lot. I kept thinking, why is this so complicated today?

I flew into Reagan and was ready for the usual baggage claim headache, but it ended up being smoother than I expected. The signs were easy to follow, and my bag showed up quickly, probably around 10 or 15 minutes after I got there.

A staff member nearby helped someone with an oversized bag question, which was nice. Not exactly an exciting part of the trip, but it didn’t add any extra stress, so I’ll take it.
